Certification and Qualification: Discipline in the Service of Translation

L10N Global is certified under standard ISO 17100, meaning our processes comply with the highest international standards. As such, all of our translators have the following qualifications:

  • They are native speakers of the target language and specialize in a given area of knowledge (e.g. life sciences or finance);
  • They have a degree in translation or higher academic training in a relevant area of specialization (e.g. medicine or law) and at least two years of proven translation experience;
  • They have at least five years of professional translation experience.

Linguistic revision is a key step to ensure the accuracy and flow of the final text. As such, our reviewers:

  • Are native speakers of the target language and specialize in the area in question;
  • Have higher academic training in translation or specialized fields of knowledge;
  • Have at least seven years of professional experience in revising translations.
